Movie Player Test

I've been fiddling around with Serif DrawPlus X3 again. I keep forgetting how to create a movie player, and so, have to relearn everything. Since I'd also forgotten the embed code for an .swf, that had to be fiddled with as well, until I finally got it working. I still don't know why the parameter name has to be "button" instead of "movie". It's an oddity, because at one time "movie" was a term that worked. Now, only "button" will do. Is this an issue with Blogger? I'm not sure.

The following is a simple example of a movie player I'd made, with an even simpler movie inserted. The "on/off" buttons do seem to work, so I know the action script must be correct.

For whatever reason, some movie players I've attempted to make don't seem to work, though I've followed the same procedures. Eventually, I'll figure it out.

Back to the drawing board! HaHa!

For anyone who is interested, or even for myself the next time I forget, here's the embed code I used for this .swf. Just replace the value YourOwnSWF with your own. And replace the embed src ADDRESSofYOURswfFILE.com/YourOwnSWF with the location of your .swf. The width and height can be changed as well. Be sure to change them in all instances.
